Rockin' The Port attracts huge numbers

Hundreds of people have already come through the doors of Portpatrick Village Hall for the first half of Rockin’ The Port, and what a fantastic start to the season it’s been. These sessions are free to all and we sell tea, coffee and home made cakes.

So far this year we’ve welcomed Just John & Paul, The Broclaimers, the Robbie Williams Tribute, Divas Soul Band, local favourites Wild Thyme and Chopperhead, and the brilliant Artistic Licence.

The atmosphere has been incredible, and our dedicated bus service from Leswalt, Kirkcolm and Stranraer is bringing in plenty of locals who simply love their Sunday afternoons at Rockin’ The Port.

We’re now taking a short break until 19th July, when we return with Little Miss Sixties, who tours Europe with her high‑energy celebration of Sixties Divas including Sandie Shaw, Petula Clark, The Supremes, Martha Reeves and the Vandellas, and many more.

After that, we keep the momentum going with Mark Keeley and his Rock ’n’ Roll set, Roy Orbison Tribute, Tina Turner, WestLive/BoyzAlive, plus performances from local singer Wal Smith and The Hoolies.

It’s shaping up to be a truly brilliant summer in Portpatrick.
